The 1980 style front and rear wide body panels are made of light weight, super strong, very expensive Kevlar fiberglass, (bulletproof police jacket material), the front clip, rear clip and roof panel weighing about 68 pounds together and were designed by Greg Pickett Racing. It also has the lightweight Kevlar fiberglass front and rear bumpers and one piece roof panel with the split molded into it to look like T-tops. All panels are Dzus fastened for quick removal. The hood and windshield are stock and the rear window is made of Lexan. The wide body doors hinge and latch using factory hardware. Window nets and racing seats are also installed in the car as well as a quick release steering wheel. It has Guldstrand general competition springs, bump steer kit, race tie rods, Moog heavy duty ball joints, Moog idler arm, solid a-arm bushings, heim jointed rear camber control rods, rear camber bracket lowering block, Koni shocks, longer large diameter wheel studs, cross drilled rotors, and new braided stainless brake and fuel hoses. The steel wheels are chrome and black and 15 x 10 wide. The Hoosier Street TDs front tires are 245/45D15 and the rears are 27.5 x 11.0x15. Engine is 1988 small block Chevy 350 with a fresh valve job, roller camshaft, roller tipped rockers, Edelbrock Performer Intake, 600 CFM Vacuum Secondary Holley carburetor and black Hooker side pipe headers without mufflers. It has an angle mounted aluminum radiator with dual electric mounted fans. It has a TH400 transmission, (a clutch pedal is also included for a manual transmission conversion). The rear axle has a 3.70 gear, new bearings, seals, and heavy duty side yokes and caps. It has a 20 gallon fuel cell, (still needs a fill tube), stainless steel braided fuel lines, a Holley electric fuel pump and Mallory filter and fuel pressure regulator. This project car still NEEDS all the interior sheet metal work, (floor, front and rear firewall and dash). It does start and drive with working brakes and gas pedal. Also, the rear window is not permanently installed. The body is in black primer. This could possibly be a SCCA, NCCC Autocross, Pro Street, Vintage Racer, Silver State Classic Racer, Show Car or Whatever. It is still titled as a 1969 Coupe in case you want it for street use. It has no racing history. For pickup, this car is located in the Detroit Metro Area at our Corvette Parts and Service Center at 29069 Calahan Road, Roseville, Michigan 48066-1805.
